Covid has proved to be a gruelling and at times very tense long haul for everyone, with only brief respites to the lockdown. But now it looks like we have an end in sight. How exciting is it now to see things gradually unlocking, and be able to look forward to a summer of events and festivals taking place.
Nowhere is this new flourishing of activity more noticeable than around Britain’s coastal town and resorts. From family fun at the large and very popular Eastbourne International Airshow in August, to Newquay’s Boardmasters Surf Festival in July, and smaller events like the Salcombe Crab Festival coming up, there’s a real opening up and positivity in evidence around Britain’s seaside.
Typical of this new flurry of events is the town of Folkestone (Hythe District Council), where EventApp has been on hand as a Council partner to help streamline and organise the event permitting application process.
