Suffolk, where Screen Suffolk uses Apply4’s FilmApp to manage filming applications, provides the backdrop to action in series 6 of Slow Horses, the Apple TV spy thriller starring Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden.
The Orwell Bridge and former RAF Bentwaters both appear in the series, with the former airbase near Woodbridge providing the setting for a high-speed car chase featuring Lowden.
Screen Suffolk also uses CrewDB and LocationDB to showcase local crew and filming locations.
Together, these tools help Screen Suffolk connect productions with the locations, people and permissions they need to film in the county.
