Camden’s Perrin’s Lane features in the second series of BBC comedy-drama Ludwig, starring David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin.The Hampstead street features in episode five, where a sushi bar becomes the scene of John ‘Ludwig’ Taylor’s latest case.
Apply4’s sister company FilmFixer facilitated the shoot, working with supervising location manager David Colenutt. Camden uses FilmApp to manage filming applications, helping production teams and film officers coordinate location filming across the borough.
Perrin’s Lane also has an earlier screen credit: it appeared in the 1965 thriller The Collector. More than 60 years later, the Camden street is providing a backdrop for a new generation of screen mysteries.
