Royal Borough of Greenwich Events Team Launches EventApp for Permit Applications

23rd June 2026

The Royal Borough of Greenwich Events Team has announced a new streamlined process for organising public events.

From now on anyone wishing to host an event on council-managed land or public space in Greenwich must submit their event permit application through EventApp, our online permitting platform.

Some of the great events Greenwich hosts are:

Greenwich Family Arts Festival
Greenwich+Docklands International Festival
Maryon Park Picnic
Greenwich Dog Show
Uptown Festival
Urban Village Fete and the London Marathon starts in Greenwich.

EventApp is designed to make event permitting quicker and more efficient for both organisers and council staff. The platform allows applicants to complete and submit all necessary documentation online, communicate directly with council officers and safety advisors and track the status of their application in real time. Organisers can also make payments, upload supporting files and receive digital permits once approved, all within the EventApp portal.

Event organisers are encouraged to visit https://apply4.com/eventapp/ to begin their application and ensure they have the required permit in place well in advance of their planned event.
