2025 in Review: A Year of Outdoor Events That Brought Communities Together

31st December 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, it’s clear this was a standout year for outdoor events. Across the UK and the US, towns, cities, parks and coastal spaces were transformed into places of connection – hosting festivals, markets, performances and seasonal celebrations that brought people together and activated public spaces throughout the year.

From beachside events in Wildwood, Long Beach, and Panama City, to community-focused programmes in Decatur, Roswell, and Tempe, outdoor calendars in the US showcased how well-planned events can energise local areas. In the UK, locations including Cambridge, Bath, Bristol, Oxford, Nottingham, and London boroughs such as Camden, Hackney, Lambeth, Southwark, and Wandsworth embraced open-air culture across parks, town centres and historic sites.

Behind the scenes, EventApp played a key role in helping local authorities and organisers plan, manage and deliver these events by supporting everything from applications and approvals to coordination across teams. By simplifying processes and improving visibility, EventApp helped make it easier to run safe, well-organised events at scale.

As we reflect on 2025, the momentum is clear and with plans already taking shape, 2026 is set to build on this success with even more ambitious, inclusive and well-planned outdoor events ahead, all supported by EventApp.
